This is a stainless steel bird. The reflective material and reduction of detail captures the essence of the bird in a pure form allowing it to exist in a free state, as both animal and symbol. It is in excellent vintage condition.

It reminds me of a Mash-Up between a Constantin Brâncuşi sculpture and the Bird used on the original Woodstock poster.
There is something written on the bottom but I can't make it out. It looks like two words, perhaps a first and last name, and then the numbers '192'.
